Organised for small groups, sales negotiations, interviews, debates and information discussions to communicate small chunks of information at a time.
Involving note-taking, this interpreting method aims to relay with precision and accuracy the full contents (messages, asides, tone) of a speech in sections of several minutes. This form of interpreting is more adapted to presentations such as lectures.
Consists of simultaneously translating what is being said directly into the listener’s ear. Suitable for shorter meetings, this form of interpreting is particularly ideal for 1 to 3 listeners, during an official visit for example.
This is the most dynamic and discreet form of interpreting as it is performed in real time without the speaker having to stop and start during delivery. Interpreting will not affect the format or flow of your event so the pace of your meeting remains intact. Simultaneous interpreting is the only solution for meetings involving more than two languages.
A.D.T. International can supply you with the equipment and technical assistance required for your interpreting assignment. Our professionals will also advise you on the best equipment for the job and meet your logistical needs for an optimum service.
For the optimum simultaneous interpreting conditions, the booth needs to be perfectly sound insulated. We have opted for the Audipack booth that meets all the standards set down by the industry. This combined with Bosch interpreting equipment means all your needs are covered.
When speakers address an audience in different languages, during a seminar or conference for example, infrared broadcasting provides real listening comfort to participants. The system lets a person tune into the language of their choice using a receiver and a headset.
The conference microphone is the ideal device for interactive gatherings such as round table discussions and board meetings. By incorporating a simultaneous interpreting system, speakers can talk and participants can listen in complete comfort.
When out and about, interpreters are equipped with the Tour Guide system (a portable solution with headsets) to deliver simultaneous interpreting on the move by way of a portable radio emitter and audio headsets for the participants. It is recommended for shorter whispering interpreting assignments and small groups.
You send your request to your assigned project manager who will establish a quote based on the agreed prices in your contract.
We help our clients make the right choices, in some cases using a dedicated interpreting questionnaire if the details of the assignment are not yet clear.
Your project manager will provisionally book the interpreters and technician while waiting for the quote to be signed off.
If necessary, the technician can do a site visit before the event to factor in any potential constraints for less “traditional” assignments and/or if you specifically require it.
Your project is confirmed by your project manager.
The technician installs the equipment and oversees it during the event while the interpreters carry out their assignment.
Your project manager will follow up to check you were happy:
⇒ For assignments where equipment is not needed, the same process applies but without the equipment and technician.
